JOURNAL #12 – Write a paragraph (about 50 – 100 words) for each of the following:

-       What is Perrine saying about horses in paragraph 20?

-       What does paragraph 25 tell us about the difference between metaphor and symbol?

-       What is Perrine saying about the meaning of symbols in paragraph 27?
